Traveling to Musanze, Rwanda
Rwanda has one international airport located in the capital city of Kigali, Kigali International Airport. While it is possible to take a bus from Rwanda’s neighboring countries, the best suggested option for teams is to fly into Kigali where they will meet with an arranged transport vehicle to Musanze.
Musanze is approximately a two-hour drive from the Kigali airport, easily navigable and on smoothly paved roads. Renting vehicles is difficult in Rwanda so it is very important to arrange a car and driver prior to arrival. Team Rwanda Cycling and/or FERWACY have limited vehicles and can arrange transportation at your cost if arrangements are made ahead of time with Kimberly Coats, email@example.com.
There is no official airline partner for this event; however, there are several airline options to choose from for your travels.
Kigali International Airport (KGL) receives flights from the following airlines:
RwandAir (RWANDA AIRLINES): Accra, Brazzaville, Bujumbura, Cyangugu, Dar es Salaam, Douala, Dubai- International, Entebbe Johannesburg-OR Tambo, Juba, Kilimanjaro, Lagos, Libreville, Mombasa, Mwanza, Nairobi-Jomo Kenyatta
